Luna Rossa would like to welcome the newest member to their famiglia, Chef Andre Gainer.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Andre frequented his Uncle Perlie Harry Ruffins home, an Executive Chef. He instantly took to cooking, fascinated by flavors and scents. Through the years Andre followed his passion by attending and graduating from the Connecticut Culinary Institute. He has had the opportunity to work for may premier Fairfield County Chefs, such as Thomas Henkelman of The Homestead, Bill Taibe from Kawa Ni and Chef/Owner Jeffrey Taibe from Taproot in Bethel Ct.
With an incredible versatile background, Chef Andre has returned to his true passion, the authentic Italian cuisine. With his eclectic palate, passion for flavor and the abundance of Italian ingredients Chef Andre is sure to give Luna Rossa diners a culinary experience not to be forgotten.
